This is a translation for convenience. The Romanian version prevails.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (for example, the browser’s local storage) work in a similar way and are treated the same in this policy.

The website www.moty.ro is operated by MOTY CONSULTANCE S.R.L. (Tax ID (CUI) 38556110, Trade Register No. J23/5998/2017, registered office: Str. Sofia nr. 6, Oraș Otopeni, Județ Ilfov, 075100, România). We use cookies in accordance with Law No. 506/2004 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. In short

  • We use Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram. They load on every visit. We do not use Google Analytics or Google Ads.
  • Essential cookies are required for the website to work (login, payments, remembering your cookie choice) and do not require consent.
  • Functional cookies from certain embedded services (video player, booking calendar) are set by the respective providers only on the pages where these services appear.

3. Essential cookies

They are strictly necessary to provide the services you request. They cannot be disabled from the website.

In addition to cookies, the website uses the browser’s local storage so the same messages are not shown more than once (for example moty-star-shown, for the duration of the session, and moty_welcome_<id>, for the welcome screen in your account). These values are not shared with third parties.

4. Functional and third-party cookies

They are set by external providers when you use their services embedded in the website (video playback, tickets, online booking).

These providers process data according to their own policies: Stripe, Vimeo, YouTube (Google), Meta, Bunny.net.

A few graphic elements (for example the screen shown after a successful payment) use fonts loaded from Google Fonts servers (Google Ireland Ltd.). Google Fonts does not set cookies, but it receives your IP address and browser type when the fonts load.

5. How to manage your preferences

On your first visit we show a banner informing you about the cookies we use; you can reopen it at any time using the link in the footer of every page. If you do not want your visit to be measured by Meta, you can block third-party cookies or the connect.facebook.net domain in your browser, and manage your ad preferences directly in your Facebook/Instagram account. You can delete the moty_consent cookie (or all cookies for moty.ro) at any time; the banner will appear again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings:

Important: if you block essential cookies, signing in to your account and payments will no longer work properly.
